About the position

The Data Product Owner (Scrum Master) role is focused on advocating and coaching Agile scrum processes within the organization. This position involves serving as a Scrum Master for multiple Agile teams, facilitating various Scrum-related meetings, and ensuring adherence to Agile methodologies. The role emphasizes continuous improvement and effective communication to guide teams in achieving their objectives through Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Advocate and coach Agile scrum processes, ensuring adherence to the framework.
• Serve as Scrum Master for up to two Agile teams.
• Organize and facilitate project planning, daily standup meetings, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other Scrum-related meetings.
• Escalate and resolve impediments as necessary.
• Facilitate discussions and conflict resolution within the team.
• Leverage data to measure and monitor progress against commitments.
• Guide the Scrum Team on using Agile Scrum practices and values to meet program objectives.
• Act as an advisor or ad-hoc coach to those new to Agile methodology.

Requirements

• Good to have PMI-ACP Agile Certified Practitioner certification.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar certification.
• Experience with in-depth knowledge of Scrum and implementation of Agile methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum management, sprint, and release planning.
• Understanding of and experience with Software Development Life Cycles, utilizing an Agile approach to software development.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and facilitation skills.
• Proven ability to work with diverse personality types.
• Effective oral, written, and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification.
• Knowledge and experience with Agile techniques such as User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, and Automated Testing.
