About the position

The Data Protection Architect position at DELSTOARHCTRE in New Orleans, LA, is a critical role focused on ensuring the integrity and security of data across various storage environments. The architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Storage Area Network (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS) systems with a strong emphasis on data protection strategies, backup solutions, and redundancy measures. This role requires a deep understanding of storage technologies and the ability to allocate storage resources effectively to meet the needs of the organization and its clients. In this position, the Data Protection Architect will work closely with IT teams to configure RAID and Logical Unit Number (LUN) settings, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of storage systems. The role demands hands-on experience with Dell EMC solutions, particularly Data Domain and Avamar, which are essential for effective data backup and recovery processes. The architect will also be expected to leverage their expertise in Cisco SAN Fabrics to enhance the overall data protection framework. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both Dell and VMware environments, enabling them to integrate various technologies seamlessly.
