About the position

As a Product Owner for Data Protection at PayPal, you will lead initiatives to enhance the company's data protection strategy, ensuring compliance and safeguarding customer data. This role involves developing product proposals, conducting vendor comparisons, managing the product roadmap, and performing gap analyses. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive innovation and continuous improvement in data protection efforts.

Responsibilities

• Create and present product proposals to stakeholders.
• Conduct new vendor comparisons to ensure the best fit for our needs.
• Develop and maintain the product roadmap.
• Perform product gap analysis to identify areas for improvement.
• Manage licensing and vendor tickets.
• Track and report on KPIs.
• Analyze business unit and content coverage gaps.

Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience in data protection.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Knowledge of data protection regulations.
• Experience with vendor management.
• Certifications like CIPP or CISSP are beneficial.
• Attention to detail and strong communication abilities.
