About the position

The Data Quality Analyst role at Beacon Hill Staffing Group involves analyzing data from various sources to ensure its accuracy, completeness, and reliability. The position focuses on developing and implementing processes to improve data quality, utilizing statistical analysis and data governance frameworks. The analyst will collaborate with data engineering teams and participate in Agile ceremonies to support model building and data governance initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data from a variety of sources, identifying and correcting errors and inconsistencies.
• Develop and implement processes to improve data quality.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of APS data.
• Work with structured and unstructured data using various tools and techniques.
• Utilize statistical analysis, data cleansing, and transformation tools for data integrity.
• Partner with data engineering teams and data stewards to define and implement data governance initiatives.
• Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, and machine learning engineers to support model building.
• Support the development and implementation of data quality policies, procedures, and standards.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning and daily stand-ups, to provide input on testing progress and challenges.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of data integration principles and data governance frameworks.
• Knowledge and experience with Java programming and Spring Boot microservices.
• Familiarity with big data technologies in the AWS cloud.
• Experience with machine learning concepts and data preparation techniques.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
