About the position

As a Data Quality Analyst - Personal Security at GDIT, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our nation by evaluating system performance and data quality. This position involves collaborating with database developers, running data queries, and reporting findings to management to inform business decisions. You will be part of a highly skilled team dedicated to providing cyber security services and ensuring the accuracy and security of information.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates system performance and design, as well as its effect on data quality.
• Collaborates with database developers to improve data collection and storage processes.
• Runs data queries to identify coding issues and data exceptions, as well as cleaning data.
• Gathers data from primary or secondary data sources to identify and interpret trends.
• Reports data analysis findings to management to inform business decisions and prioritize information system needs.
• Documents processes and maintains data records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a closely related discipline.
• 10+ years of related experience.
• TS/SCI security clearance with active polygraph.
• In-depth knowledge of data quality methods and tests.
• Knowledge of Personal Security Clearance Processes (including investigation, adjudication, and maintenance processes).
• Practical experience conditioning large data sets (500k+ rows).
• Experience with statistical packages, such as MS Excel, SAS, and SPSS.
• Exceptional analytical skills.
• Advanced problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of best practices in data analysis.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of creating/managing Tableau workbooks and visualizations.
