About the position

The Data Quality Analyst at Beacon Hill Staffing Group is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data from various sources. This role involves analyzing data, identifying errors, and implementing processes to enhance data quality. The analyst will work with both structured and unstructured data, utilizing statistical analysis and data governance frameworks to maintain data integrity. Collaboration with data engineering teams and participation in Agile ceremonies are also key aspects of this position.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data from a variety of sources, identifying and correcting errors and inconsistencies.
• Develop and implement processes to improve data quality.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of APS data.
• Work with structured and unstructured data using various tools and techniques.
• Utilize statistical analysis, data cleansing, and transformation tools for data integrity.
• Partner with data engineering teams and data stewards to define and implement data governance initiatives.
• Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, and machine learning engineers to support model building.
• Support the development and implementation of data quality policies, procedures, and standards.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing input on testing progress and challenges.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of data integration principles and data governance frameworks.
• Knowledge and experience with Java programming, Spring Boot microservices, and big data technologies in the AWS cloud.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and data preparation techniques.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
