About the position

The Data Quality Analyst at CommuniCare Corporate is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data through rigorous analysis, testing, and validation. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to gather requirements, design test cases, and implement processes that enhance data quality, particularly in the healthcare sector focusing on MDS data.

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis, testing, and validation.
• Design and execute test cases to ensure data accuracy and completeness based on user and/or system requirements.
• Analyze data from various sources, identifying and correcting errors and inconsistencies.
• Develop and implement processes to improve data quality.
• Maintain appropriate test documentation.
• Understand business information data sources and business rules.
• Assist in gathering end user requirements for data, data quality, and performance.
• Collaborate with project managers, product owners, and development teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
• Build strong relationships with business and IT partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related discipline.
• 3 or more years of related experience.
• Experience in healthcare, specifically around MDS data.
• Significant experience writing and editing SQL queries.
• Power BI experience is a plus.
• Proven experience in capturing and documenting test plans, test cases, and test results related to system enhancements, maintenance, and new functionality requests.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and digest requirements from the CMS annual and quarterly Federal Register on MDS changes.
