About the position

The Senior Data Quality Analyst will focus on supporting the migration of business objects to Power BI. This role involves analyzing existing reports, data mapping, identifying data gaps, validating data quality and metrics, and ensuring a smooth transition. The candidate will maintain data quality standards and work cross-functionally to enhance data quality across various sources and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand existing reports and data mapping.
• Identify data gaps and validate data quality and metrics.
• Maintain data quality standards by measuring data quality metrics.
• Work cross-functionally to improve data quality across multiple sources and platforms.
• Develop, document, and maintain data quality goals and standards.
• Review data loaded into the enterprise data warehouse for accuracy.
• Identify areas for data quality improvement and resolve data quality problems.
• Perform data profiling and statistical tests to verify the integrity of complex datasets.
• Collaborate with data stewards, custodians, and business partners to define data quality standards.
• Assist the data engineering team in classifying data architecture for reporting tools.
• Assess business impact levels for data quality issues and recommend long-term solutions.
• Work with data engineers to implement and automate data quality requirements.
• Promote data quality awareness across the organization.
• Define data quality KPIs, measurements, and reporting standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of working experience in IT.
• 3+ years of hands-on SQL experience.
• 2+ years of data quality experience.
• 2+ years of experience in data profiling.
• Experience with enterprise data quality monitoring.
• Experience with data migration and data mapping.
• Advanced MS Office Suite skills, especially Excel.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of tools for data management including data profiling and data quality.
• Ability to adapt communication style for different audiences.
• Working knowledge of BI tools, specifically Power BI.
• Knowledge of SAP modules is a plus.
• Business acumen is desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in statistics, computer science, information management, or similar.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Safe, LeSS, or Modern Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with InfoSec control levels.
