About the position

The Data Quality Analyst will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing data quality policies and procedures. Collaborating closely with business stakeholders and internal teams, the specialist will design and execute data quality strategies, build rules, monitor data issues, and proactively resolve them. This role involves developing and maintaining a comprehensive data catalog, ensuring data discoverability, and providing training and support to stakeholders on best practices. The Data Quality Analyst will act as a subject matter expert for data quality, identify opportunities for process automation, and demonstrate a strong ability to meet deadlines with a sense of urgency and attention to detail. In this position, you will partner with business stakeholders and internal teams to understand and prioritize data issues. You will design and implement data quality strategies and solutions, build and enforce data quality rules, and monitor data for issues while collaborating with stakeholders for resolution. Additionally, you will develop consistent data quality reporting mechanisms and create and maintain a comprehensive data catalog to facilitate data discoverability and understanding. Providing training and support to stakeholders on data quality and data catalog best practices will also be a key responsibility. As a subject matter expert for data quality and catalog, you will drive continuous improvement within the organization.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of experience with Informatica; Oracle experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of data quality standards and frameworks (e.g., DMBOK).
  • Strong understanding of data quality principles and standards.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with a sense of urgency.
  • Proficient in identifying opportunities for process automation.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
