About the position

The position involves analyzing data from various sources to ensure its accuracy, completeness, and reliability. The role focuses on improving data quality through the development and implementation of processes, utilizing statistical analysis, data cleansing, and transformation tools. Collaboration with data engineering teams and participation in Agile ceremonies are key aspects of the job, alongside fostering a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data from a variety of sources, identifying and correcting errors and inconsistencies.
• Develop and implement processes to improve data quality.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of APS data.
• Work with structured and unstructured data using various tools and techniques.
• Utilize statistical analysis, data cleansing, and transformation tools to ensure data integrity.
• Partner with the data engineering team and data stewards to define and implement data governance initiatives.
• Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, and machine learning engineers to support model building.
• Support the development and implementation of data quality policies, procedures, and standards.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of data integration principles and data governance frameworks.
• Knowledge and experience with Java programming and Spring Boot microservices.
• Experience with big data technologies in the AWS cloud.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and data preparation techniques.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
