About the position

The Data Quality Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data for a public sector client based in Indianapolis, IN. This position involves working closely with various teams to maintain high standards of data quality and to support ongoing projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management and analysis, with a focus on utilizing Microsoft Excel and other tools to prepare reports and analyze data effectively. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to communicate effectively with multi-professional agencies. The Data Quality Associate will also be responsible for documenting meetings and maintaining accurate records of discussions and decisions made during those meetings. This position offers flexibility in terms of employment type, allowing candidates to choose between W2 or 1099/C2C arrangements, making it accessible for a wide range of applicants with valid work authorization in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data for ongoing projects.
  • Prepare spreadsheets and reports using Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables.
  • Analyze data and formulate reports based on statistical findings.
  • Document meeting minutes and notes accurately.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with multi-professional agencies.
  • Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in data management and analysis.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, including preparing spreadsheets and reports.
  • Prior experience working with statistics and formulating reports utilizing data.
  • Experience in keeping meeting minutes and notes.
  • Strong customer service experience.
  • Proficient in data entry with a focus on accuracy.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to assess issues and take action to solve them without direction.
