About the position

The Data Reconciliation Analyst (Management Operations Analyst I) position at the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services involves planning, conducting, and evaluating management operations studies for the Child Support Services (CSS) program. The role requires coordination with various internal and external entities to implement program initiatives, develop work plans, and establish problem resolution programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills to effectively contribute to the Data Reconciliation team.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, conduct, and evaluate management operations studies for the Child Support Services (CSS) program.
  • Serve as a liaison to various internal and external entities to coordinate the implementation of CSS program aspects.
  • Develop and execute work plans for the implementation of new or revised initiatives mandated by laws or agency initiatives.
  • Develop and implement procedures to identify program deficiencies.
  • Document, recommend, and implement a problem resolution program for assigned areas.
  • Review and evaluate material produced by statewide database systems and manual handling.
  • Assist in monitoring, evaluating, and establishing work standards for staff.
  • Monitor the distribution of policy/procedure directives and ensure timely updates to management systems.

Requirements

  • Completion of four (4) years of college, supplemented by a master's degree in business or public administration with relevant coursework.
  • One (1) year of progressively responsible professional experience in management operations analysis or an approved training program.
