About the position
The Data Recovery Engineer position focuses on providing IT and desktop support specifically for Macintosh and iOS platforms. The role involves troubleshooting, data recovery, and maintaining a high level of customer service while working with various Apple products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a desire to learn and grow in the field of data recovery.
Responsibilities
- Provide IT and desktop support for Macintosh and iOS platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Apple products including iPhone, iPad, and Time Capsule.
- Utilize Terminal for completing tasks and troubleshooting.
- Maintain knowledge of current technology and Apple applications.
- Analyze and evaluate customer needs to provide effective solutions.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Deliver excellent customer service over the phone and in person.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in IT, Help Desk, or Desktop Support environments.
- Familiarity with all native Apple applications and products.
- Experience with computer hardware components for troubleshooting and upgrades.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a passion for technology.
Nice-to-haves
- ACMT certification preferred but not required.
- Experience as an Apple Genius or Apple Expert.
