About the position

The Data Reporting Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing and reporting data to identify cost-effective methods of working with third-party vendors. This hybrid position requires strong skills in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools like Tableau, focusing on data collection, analysis, and the creation of actionable insights to inform business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Gather, clean, and process large datasets from various sources.
• Create detailed reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate data trends and insights.
• Interpret complex data and generate actionable insights to inform business decisions.
• Develop and maintain detailed reports on quality control and provide feedback to relevant teams and management.
• Collect and maintain a database of 811 contacts across the client's footprint.
• Track and analyze data on third-party damages to identify trends and potential areas for preventative measures.
• Prepare and present regular reports to upper management.

Requirements

• Background in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools.
• Experience in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data reporting.
• Problem-solving skills to approach data-related problems and troubleshoot effectively.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable visualizations for non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in creating interactive reports and dashboards that update automatically based on real-time data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and clients.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in reports and dashboards.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with MS Project
• Knowledge of utility, telecom, OSP, and construction industries.
