About the position

The Data Reporting Analyst is responsible for managing and coordinating all internal activities related to the development and approval of contracts and pricing for the Orthopaedic Division. This role involves formulating corporate account business plans that pertain to contract and pricing issues, as well as implementing and monitoring contract compliance programs. The analyst will handle an assigned pricing territory with minimal supervision and will seek direction from senior business analysts and the pricing administration manager regarding group contract pricing and territory issues. Additionally, the analyst will resolve and manage customer pricing issues through the analysis of credit requests, deductions, and complaints. Key responsibilities include the preparation of profit and loss (P&L) statements, developing recommendations to ensure economic viability, and analyzing data to make informed recommendations in regional and local markets. The analyst will also be responsible for bids and proposals, including pricing guidelines and contractual/legal considerations. Preparation of sales reports and data for account analysis, including custom sales information reporting, is also a critical function of this role. The analyst will manage and monitor pricing exceptions, deductions, and credits to identify any pricing problems, assist distributors and office managers with local contract expirations and pricing issues, and support CMCA Account Management in evaluating and responding to national contracts regarding orthopaedic products. Furthermore, the analyst will prepare analyses for and implement the annual price list, coordinate and evaluate the training of Contract Administrators, and audit the accuracy and timeliness of their work. The role also includes coordinating and evaluating the training of District/Distributor Administrative Personnel as it relates to contract and pricing issues. Non-essential duties may include coordinating and publishing articles for the quarterly Pricing Administration Newsletter, assisting the Pricing Administration Supervisor with special projects, and providing monthly recaps of contract activities. The analyst will also participate in company programs and undertake training to improve job skills and productivity.
