About the position

The Data Reporting Analyst will support multiple reporting functions across various departments, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. This role involves managing, analyzing, and ensuring the accuracy of reports related to vendor data, sales performance, and reconciliations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Excel and Tableau, with a strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Manage and analyze reports related to customer rebates, inventory, and national account data.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of vendor reports, and assist with any ad-hoc data requests from vendors.
• Regularly analyze sales data to provide insights and support decision-making processes.
• Ensure reports accurately reflect customer metrics and sales performance.
• Prepare and manage monthly and yearly reconciliation reports, including rebate reconciliations.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure reconciliations are complete and accurate.
• Use Tableau to pull and analyze existing reports, responding to supplier requests for adjustments or additional data.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all reports produced.
• Assist with updating non-reporting tasks outside of regular reporting duties as needed.

Requirements

• Proficient in Excel, with a deep understanding of functions, formulas, and data manipulation techniques.
• Experience with Tableau for pulling and analyzing reports (no new development required).
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in addressing data issues or reporting requests.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly when addressing vendor or internal team requests.
• Prior experience in reporting, data analysis, or related fields preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with vendor and sales reporting.
• Experience in reconciliation reporting (monthly and yearly).
• Knowledge of database management systems and experience with SQL (not required but a plus).
