The Data Reporting Analyst role is a long-term contract position based in Canton, Ohio, focused on supporting various business units with their reporting needs across multiple systems and data retention environments. The primary responsibilities include querying data using SQL, creating SSRS reports, and developing visualizations with Power BI to enhance data interpretation and reporting accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assisting different business units by providing necessary data support
• Querying in SQL to extract essential information for reporting
• Creating comprehensive SSRS reports to fulfill business needs
• Developing visualizations using Power BI to facilitate data interpretation
• Communicating effectively with business stakeholders and end users
• Gathering reporting requirements from various sources
• Employing skills in Analytics and Business Intelligence (BI) to enhance reporting accuracy
• Generating Ad Hoc Reports as per business requirements
• Building rapport with stakeholders and end users to understand their reporting needs
• Maintaining a dynamic role in the improvement of reporting processes

Requirements

• Proficiency in Analytics is mandatory for this role.
• Expertise in Business Intelligence (BI) is a crucial requirement.
• Substantial experience with Power BI is required.
• Familiarity with SSRS - SQL Server Reporting Services is required.
• Proven track record in Requirements Gathering is necessary.
• Ability to perform Ad Hoc Reporting is necessary for this role.
