The Data & Research Scientist role in Warren, MI, is a full-time contract position focused on leveraging data science to support the Global Strategy & Operations Team. Responsibilities

• Work as an integral member of the Global Strategy & Operations Team, focusing on innovation and analytics.
• Develop analytical solutions to address and improve KPIs and business results.
• Pursue problem identification and impact across large vehicle populations using data mining, predictive modeling, simulation, and visualization techniques.
• Create visualizations and storytelling to address business problems.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience using data to solve problems and hypothesis testing.
• 8+ years of experience in data architecture and database management.
• 8+ years of professional development experience.
• Solid experience with Big Data technologies in Data Bricks platform using Python/R.
• Master's degree in STEM fields required; Ph.D. in STEM fields preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the auto industry is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong data storytelling, communication, and presentation skills.
• Displays curiosity and creativity.
