About the position
The Data Science Intern at Hexagon's Manufacturing Intelligence division will support the testing and development of proof-of-concept applications, focusing on enhancing customer workflows through innovative machine learning techniques. This role offers an opportunity to work with advanced technologies in a collaborative environment, contributing to the development of solutions that improve industrial manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist in testing and development of proof-of-concept applications using recent machine learning innovations including large language models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve problems related to CAE customer workflows in Hexagon products.
- Develop codebases using Python programming language for machine learning model validation and experiments.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in a Data Science or related graduate degree program and have good academic standing.
- Self-motivated and proactive to learn new skills related to large language models and machine learning with Python programming language.
- Familiarity with Python libraries for data analysis and machine learning such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, LangChain.
- Experience working independently or in a team environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with CAE workflows is a plus.
