About the position

Outlier is seeking experienced software engineers to serve as Data Science & ML Coding Trainers. This freelance role involves training generative AI models by providing human feedback, crafting questions related to computer science, and evaluating AI-generated code. The position is remote with flexible hours, allowing trainers to work at their convenience.

Responsibilities

• Craft and answer questions related to computer science to help train AI models.
• Evaluate and rank code generated by AI models.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or completed a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science at a selective institution.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C++.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AI or machine learning concepts is a plus.
