About the position

Outlier is seeking experienced software engineers to serve as Data Science & ML Coding Trainers. This freelance role involves training generative AI models by providing human feedback on coding tasks. The position is remote with flexible hours, allowing trainers to work at their convenience. The primary responsibilities include crafting questions related to computer science and evaluating AI-generated code to enhance the performance of AI models.

Responsibilities

• Craft and answer questions related to computer science to help train AI models.
• Evaluate and rank code generated by AI models.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or completed a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science at a selective institution.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C++.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AI or machine learning concepts is a plus.
