About the position

Outlier is seeking experienced software engineers to serve as Data Science & ML Coding Trainers. This freelance role involves training generative AI models by providing human feedback on coding tasks. The position is remote with flexible hours, allowing trainers to work at their convenience while contributing their coding expertise to enhance AI model performance.

Responsibilities

• Craft and answer questions related to computer science to assist in training AI models.
• Evaluate and rank code generated by AI models.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or completed a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science from a selective institution.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C++.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AI or machine learning concepts (not required).
