Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains statistical models and machine learning models to extract insights from large data sets.
• Participates in developing scalable Business Intelligence (BI) and predictive analytics solutions.
• Conducts needs assessments and requirements gathering for data analytics solutions.
• Performs data manipulation and analytics, translating insights into actionable recommendations.
• Prepares presentations and reports on statistical concepts and research results for non-statistical audiences.
• Facilitates training and education of associates on new systems and procedures.
• Creates standards for process improvement projects using Data Analytics and Statistical Analysis Theory.
• Maintains knowledge of industry trends in Big Data Analytics through seminars and training.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in math, statistics, computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in data science and analytics.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, JavaScript, R, SQL, and Python.
• Experience with basic IoT tools and concepts like Hadoop and APIs.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in math, statistics, computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in bringing products to market supported by data science.
• Experience with Computer Vision and developing AI algorithms.
• Automotive industry experience.
