About the position

As a Data Scientist specializing in Advanced Analytics and Machine Learning, you will leverage your expertise to transform complex data into actionable insights that drive innovation and support strategic decision-making within the company. Your role will involve applying advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI techniques to both structured and unstructured data, collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions that align with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends and provide actionable recommendations for various business units.
• Utilize advanced analytics techniques such as trend analysis, predictive modeling, and prescriptive modeling to solve complex business challenges.
• Design, build, and deploy machine learning models using cloud-based services to meet operational and strategic needs.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, data engineers, and project managers to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Provide innovative ideas and algorithms to enhance business decision-making.

Requirements

• BS degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Sciences, Mathematics, Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum four years of related business experience in analytics, data science, predictive modeling, machine learning, or statistical modeling, or an advanced degree with two years of directly related experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with programming knowledge.
• Proficiency in data analytics methods and tools like Python and SQL.
• Expertise in extracting and transforming large datasets.

Nice-to-haves

• Masters or Doctorate degrees in relevant fields.
• One year of hands-on experience with major cloud machine learning and MLOps services in an enterprise setting.
• Experience in building enterprise-level forecasting and anomaly detection solutions.
• Experience with ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, Tensorflow, and PyTorch.
• Basic understanding of large language models and experience with tuning LLMs.
