About the position
As a Data Scientist in Advanced Analytics & Machine Learning at Arizona Public Service, you will leverage your expertise in data analytics, machine learning, and AI to transform complex datasets into actionable insights. Responsibilities

- Design, build, and deploy machine learning models using cloud-based services.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and project managers to deliver data-driven solutions.

Requirements
- BS degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Sciences, Mathematics, Engineering or related fields.
- Minimum four years of related business experience in analytics, data science, predictive modeling, or machine learning, or an advanced degree with two years of experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with programming knowledge.
- Proficiency in data analytics methods and tools like Python and SQL.
- Expertise in extracting and transforming large datasets.
Nice-to-haves
- Masters or Doctorate degrees in relevant fields.
- One year of hands-on experience with major cloud machine learning and MLOps services.
- Experience in building enterprise-level forecasting and anomaly detection solutions.
- Experience with ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, Tensorflow, and PyTorch.
- Basic understanding of large language models and experience with tuning LLMs.
