About the position

Genesis10 is seeking an Application Architect for a contract position in the financial industry. The role involves translating requirements into architectural solutions, supporting AI execution and model documentation, and ensuring compliance with model governance policies. The architect will also analyze data to provide insights and support model owners in overcoming challenges.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into architecture and design documents.
• Support execution of AI and model documentation/testing, including Generative AI POCs.
• Coordinate AI/Client Technology risk and control governance execution.
• Review model development documents for compliance with MRM Policy and Procedures.
• Assist model owners and developers in solving model challenges through analysis.
• Interpret raw data to identify patterns and trends for data-driven insights.

Requirements

• Degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related field.
• Deep understanding of advanced mathematics and statistical concepts.
• Strong background in hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and predictive modeling.
• Hands-on experience with deep learning architectures using Python, PySpark, and PyTorch.
• Experience with deep learning toolkits such as Tensorflow, Keras, and Pytorch.
• Understanding of Hadoop platform and related Big Data technologies.
• Knowledge of R or SAS.
• Fluency with SQL on relational databases like SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Experience with model governance requirements and model risk management.
• Hands-on experience writing data processing and data models.
• Self-starter with ability to multi-task and navigate changing priorities.
• Excellent organizational, writing, and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Advanced degree in Engineering, mathematics, statistics, or computer science.
• Background in text analytics and natural language processing.
