Data Scientist (Computer Vision and Image Processing)

About the position

Computer Vision Data Scientists should be able to model, prototype, and develop image recognition engines. Experience with Neural Networks and deep learning models are required at a minimum. This TalentCloud involves the development and prototyping of architectures and models for image-to-image translation based on deep learning convolutional neural networks (CNN). This TalentCloud also requires expertise to work on the creation, augmentation, and annotation of rich, high-quality training data sets.

Requirements

• Proficient in Python
• Proficient in TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, mxnet, Caffe, Theano, DeepLearning4J, and nolearn
• Expert in parallel architecture and deploying GPUs
• 5+ years of experience in deep learning
• 3+ years of experience in computer vision
• Proficient in designing, building, tuning, and testing DL models
• Broad understanding of ML/CV approaches and practices
• Familiar with basic OOP, computer science algorithms, and data structures
• Proficient in SQL and NoSQL
• Extensive knowledge of CNNs
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills
• Comfortable working independently
• Experience in cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, and Azure
• Familiarity with version control, especially Git/GitHub

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Big Data platforms such as Apache Spark
• Experience with Containers
• Experience with Java
• PhD in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in Computer Vision
