About the position

This role focuses on leveraging current GenAI technology and multi-disciplinary knowledge to drive R&D product innovation. The candidate will develop GenAI tools to guide technical project direction and facilitate problem-solving by utilizing collective knowledge within the data ecosystem. Strong scientific and engineering skills are essential for advanced model and application development.

Responsibilities

• Build GenAI tools as co-pilots to guide and influence technical project direction.
• Enable fast problem solving by demonstrating collective knowledge in the data ecosystem.
• Develop tools and agents to facilitate work processes.
• Utilize standard AI factory framework for coding in Python and deployment.
• Supervise and track LLM and other Deep Learning models using MLOPS.
• Understand and implement Cloud Infrastructure, such as Azure Architecture for deployment.

Requirements

• PhD in Deep Learning/Data Science with a focus on GenAI or a PhD in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Strong understanding of LLM/GPT models.
• End-to-end software development skills, including tools for LLMs/agent workflows like Langchain.
• Technical capability in evaluating models and frameworks for different use cases.
• Strong ownership and self-leadership skills to understand business objectives and technical problems.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in ambitious/startup environments or industrial experience.
• Ability to recognize opportunities for capabilities or technologies that can be reapplied across programs.
• Experience in collaborating with different teams.
