Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their data-related questions and needs.
  • Conduct data exploration, cleaning, analysis, and visualization.
  • Develop algorithms leveraging programming languages such as R, Python, or SQL/NoSQL.
  • Utilize machine learning, artificial intelligence, or natural language processing techniques to analyze data.
  • Create predictive data models and quantitative analyses.
  • Visualize targeted data sources to provide insights for decision-making.
  • Work with teammates to develop systems and algorithms that address client needs.

Requirements

  • Experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining.
  • Experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis.
  • Experience in the development of algorithms leveraging R, Python, or SQL/NoSQL.
  • Experience with full-stack development.
  • Knowledge of structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or Natural Language Processing.
  • Ability to develop predictive data models, quantitative analyses, and visualization of targeted data sources.
  • Ability to deploy natural language processing, text mining, or machine learning techniques.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with distributed data and computing tools, including MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL.
  • Experience with visualization packages, including Plotly, Seaborn, or ggplot2.
  • Master's degree.
