About the position

The Data Science-Machine Learning role focuses on designing, training, and implementing machine learning algorithms while managing the end-to-end deployment and maintenance of these systems. The position involves collaborating with product owners and stakeholders to create advanced analytics solutions and cloud architectures that meet product requirements. The role also includes integrating various subsystems into user-facing products and participating in the software development life cycle, with responsibilities extending to leading data science projects and overseeing team members.

Responsibilities

  • Design, train, and implement machine learning algorithms.
  • Build, deploy, and maintain machine learning algorithms end to end.
  • Design machine learning and advanced analytics solutions, algorithms, and cloud architectures.
  • Integrate subsystems such as data pipelines, AI/ML algorithms, and API interfaces into end-user facing products.
  • Participate in daily scrums and support the Scrum Master.
  • Create detailed documentation describing methodology, relevant instructions, and test results.
  • Lead and manage data science and machine learning projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of related experience, or a master's degree with 2 years of experience, or a Ph.D. with up to 1 year of experience, or 8 years of experience in a related field.
  • Proficient in Python and machine learning libraries & frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
  • Familiar with data processing and visualization tools like SQL, Tableau, and Power BI.
  • Expertise in advanced analytical techniques including descriptive statistics, machine learning, optimization, pattern recognition, and cluster analysis.
  • Experience with Time-Series Forecasting Methods, Regression Models, and Clustering/Dimensionality Reduction.
  • Experience with cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Data/ML platforms (Databricks, Spark).
  • Solid understanding of the machine learning life cycle.
  • Experience in CI/CD Pipelines.

Nice-to-haves

  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate or AWS Certified Machine Learning.
