About the position

The Data Scientist role involves supporting the Analytics Department by providing data insights and strategies. The position requires strong technical skills in SQL, Python, and machine learning, along with the ability to communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis, extraction, and manipulation using SQL and Teradata.
• Design and implement data loading routines and work with complex database structures and data warehouses.
• Apply statistical modeling techniques such as regression, decision trees, random forests, clustering, and segmentation to drive business decisions.
• Develop data visualizations using PowerBI and other tools to communicate insights and trends.
• Build strategic analytics models using techniques like customer profiling, business segmentation, RFM analysis, and inferential statistics.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working with SQL, data extraction, and manipulation in large-scale environments (e.g., Teradata, Data Warehouses).
• Strong proficiency in Python and Python libraries to support data analysis, model building, and automation.
• Demonstrated experience with statistical modeling and machine learning techniques (e.g., segmentation, regression, decision trees, forecasting).
• Proficiency with PowerBI for developing data visualizations and dashboards to deliver actionable insights.
• Solid communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts and data findings to business partners, marketing teams, and non-technical stakeholders.
