About the position

The Software Developer position is a remote contract role focused on improving the delivery speed for data analyses through the development, standardization, refactoring, and automation of complex Python-based applications. The role requires deep expertise in Python programming, software architecture, and data analysis techniques, with an emphasis on creating robust, production-ready code that enhances the efficiency of data analysis results.

Responsibilities

• Create robust, production-ready code that can be reused across projects.
• Make the code modular, scalable, documented, and easier to maintain.
• Develop, document, automate, and release tools for statistical analysis and manipulation of prompts (.json).
• Conduct field data checks and fix issues.
• Interpret, summarize, analyze, and code free-form text.
• Analyze and implement best data visualization options.
• Generate reports and analyze intersectionalities.
• Identify and analyze clusters.
• Analyze timestamps from video and audio files.
• Perform unit and integration testing.
• Document code and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Python.
• Proven experience in refactoring and optimizing large codebases.
• Expert proficiency in Python, including knowledge of Python frameworks and data visualization libraries.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and algorithms.
• Extensive experience with code optimization and refactoring techniques.
• Proficient in version control systems (e.g., Git).
