About The Position
As a Data Scientist at Sephora, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development of machine learning systems and driving innovation through cutting-edge AI solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape data-driven strategies and contribute to the development of state-of-the-art solutions that enhance customer and employee experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights that align with Sephora's mission to inspire customers and empower teams. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced machine learning models and algorithms to address complex business challenges. Your expertise in Generative AI will be applied to various use cases, including synthetic data generation and data augmentation efforts. You will leverage your strong understanding of Recommendation Systems to create personalized user experiences, driving engagement and optimizing content delivery. Additionally, you will utilize Computer Vision techniques to develop solutions for image and video analysis, including object detection and image segmentation. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with domain experts, software engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable AI solutions. You will conduct exploratory data analysis, data preprocessing, and feature engineering to ensure high-quality input for modeling. Staying at the forefront of AI research is essential, as you will experiment with emerging techniques and keep informed about the latest advancements in the field. Your ability to communicate findings and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences will be crucial, as you will create clear visualizations and presentations to convey insights effectively. Furthermore, you will contribute to developing and maintaining robust machine learning best practices within the organization.
