About the position

The Data Scientist with a Data Engineer background will focus on analyzing large-scale data to derive insights that enhance App Store marketing strategies. This role involves collaboration with various teams to optimize marketing campaigns and develop data-driven solutions for performance monitoring and audience targeting.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate large-scale data to uncover trends and identify key insights for App Store marketing strategies.
  • Determine marketing's incremental effect on the App Store business through paid channels and build datasets and automated dashboards to monitor performance.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and support for App Store tentpole campaigns.
  • Develop effective attribution logic for ad delivery optimization and establish propensity models for campaign audience selection.
  • Help design marketing campaign touchpoints along the customer journey and optimize engagement.
  • Collaborate with ML teams to develop model prototypes for production.
  • Partner with business and engineering to define data collection, reporting requirements, metrics, and aggregates for analysis, ETLs, reporting, experimentation, and machine learning.

Requirements

  • Proficient in SQL and Python.
  • 1+ years of full-time working experience as a Data Scientist.

Nice-to-haves

  • Marketing analytics experience is a big plus, though not required.
