About the position

The Data Scientist role at BILL is a strategic position that supports the core product platform by developing predictive models and data-driven solutions. This position is integral to unlocking value for the Sales and Revenue teams, allowing for the ownership of an end-to-end predictive solution. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to analyze complex business problems and communicate findings effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
• Analyze high volume, complex transaction activity to assess patterns and trends.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to define business problems and present findings.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in data science and machine learning to improve existing processes.
• Contribute to data features/models via dbt or other means.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a data science role with a track record of delivering high-impact projects.
• Strong background in statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R in a cloud-based environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
