About the position

The Data Scientist position at Amazee Global Ventures Inc. is a senior-level contract role focused on Natural Language Processing (NLP). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and deploying NLP models to analyze and extract insights from unstructured text data. This role requires a strong background in NLP techniques and the ability to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy NLP models to analyze text data, including sentiment analysis, entity recognition, and topic modeling.
• Develop techniques to preprocess and clean unstructured text data for analysis.
• Implement NLP models in production, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance optimization.
• Stay updated on advancements in NLP, including transformer-based models like BERT and GPT.
• Present findings and provide insights to non-technical stakeholders to guide data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with a focus on NLP and unstructured data.
• Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and NLP libraries like SpaCy, NLTK, or Hugging Face.
• In-depth understanding of text processing, embeddings, and transformer architectures.
• Strong analytical and communication skills to present complex insights clearly.
