About the position

Attractivate is seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to lead complex data projects that will drive innovation and business growth. This role involves designing and implementing advanced data models and algorithms, analyzing large datasets for actionable insights, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop data science solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced data models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
• Analyze large, complex datasets to extract actionable insights and drive strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data science solutions.
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and compelling data visualizations and reports.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, and apply them to improve existing processes and solutions.

Requirements

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
• Strong experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Expertise in statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling.
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, seaborn).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead and manage data science projects from conception to deployment.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and address business challenges through data-driven solutions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a senior or leadership role is preferred.
• Relevant certifications in data science and machine learning are a plus.
