About the position

Infosys is seeking a Data Scientist with expertise in Machine Learning (ML), AI, and Python. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the end-to-end implementation of Machine Learning models, including problem identification, solution design, implementation, and deployment to production. The role involves working closely with clients to align with their data strategy using various technologies and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Implement end-to-end Machine Learning models including problem identification and solution design.
• Deploy models to production using best practices.
• Coordinate with offshore teams and align with client data strategies.
• Utilize multiple technologies and platforms for data analysis and model implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• At least 8 years of Information Technology experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on data science experience with machine learning.
• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and model development.
• Experience with data gathering, data quality, and system architecture.
• Familiarity with Lean / Agile development methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with multiple programming languages such as Scala, Java, and SQL.
• Deep Learning experience with CNNs, RNNs, and LSTMs.
• Familiarity with cognitive services on platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure, and IBM Watson.
• Experience with Azure chatbot, Google DialogFlow, and Amazon Lex.
• Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as HDFS, Hive, and Spark.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau and query languages like SQL.
