About the position

The Data Scientist role at Energizer Holdings is a pivotal position that combines advanced analytics and data science expertise with business acumen to drive value within the organization. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Enterprise Intelligence, the Data Scientist will work collaboratively with a team of analytics and business professionals to develop AI/ML products that address various business needs, including demand forecasting and model development. This role involves problem identification, data analysis, model building, and the integration of AI/ML infrastructure with existing systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support Energizer's AI/ML suite of products and applications.
• Act as a cross-functional strategic partner to align program resources and priorities.
• Translate data and analytics needs from business partners into executable programs and ensure successful implementation.
• Develop and present findings to departmental leadership and cross-functional groups in support of strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in building, deploying, and scaling AI/ML products.
• 3+ years of AI/ML experience using Python, Spark, Databricks, and Azure Synapse.
• Demonstrated experience with SQL Server, SAP ECC, S/4 HANA, and HANA DB.
• Proficiency in Python libraries such as seaborn, scikit learn, PyTorch, matplotlib, pandas, and NumPy.
• Background in statistical analysis and experience presenting findings using Power BI or Excel.
• Experience sourcing and ingesting external datasets into AI/ML products.
• Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal form.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in CPG, Supply Chain, Sales, Category Management, and/or Marketing.
• Familiarity with web, social, and mobile marketing.
