About the position

BlueOcean is seeking a highly analytical and results-oriented individual to assist in the development and optimization of models that estimate key elements of brand performance. This role involves working with advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics to provide insights into brand health and performance metrics. The successful candidate will also support the production and delivery of analyses to clients, manage data collection processes, and create communication materials that document methodologies and recommendations for improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development and optimization of models estimating key elements of brand performance.
• Produce and deliver analyses to current customers, including QA of junior resources' work.
• Perform custom analyses on topics of special interest to larger customers.
• Act as a supplementary technical resource on client and sales calls.
• Research and leverage data collection systems to gather information on brand performance.
• Develop automated processes to collect and process data relevant to brand performance.
• Manage processes for the collection, processing, delivery, and presentation of brand performance data.
• Create written communication materials documenting models and data collection processes.
• Conduct the full lifecycle of analytics projects, from data pulling to execution.
• Evaluate key performance indicators and recommend business plan updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline, computer science, business management, or economics.
• At least two years of work experience creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics.
• Basic experience with Python.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
