About the position

The Data Scientist role at Jconnect INC involves working closely with business subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand data requirements and translate them into predictive models and analytical tools. The position focuses on applying advanced techniques in natural language processing and applied mathematics to develop tools that automate document review processes, while also assessing the effectiveness of data sources and monitoring model performance.

Responsibilities

• Work with business SMEs to understand data requirements and translate them into predictive models and analytical tools.
• Apply techniques in natural language processing and applied mathematics to develop text classification tools to automate the existing manual review of documents.
• Present information using data visualization techniques and communicate findings and insights.
• Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
• Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Machine Learning, Hypothesis Testing, Regression Analysis, Predictive Modelling, and Natural Language Processing.
• Proficiency in Python/R, SQL, pyTorch, and Tensorflow.
• Strong Math and Statistics background.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with machine learning product system design.
• Familiarity with Large Language models.
• Proficient in model documentation and model governance.
