We are actively looking for a Data Scientist with excellent technical expertise who is interested in joining our growing team. This position offers the opportunity to engage in all levels of data science, including problem formulation, exploratory data analysis, validation, and deployment. As a Data Scientist, you will develop statistical and machine learning models tailored to solve customer needs, utilizing a variety of methodologies such as Frequentist and Bayesian Statistics, Time Series Analysis, Classical Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Natural Language Processing. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive data reports using SQL, NoSQL solutions, PySpark, and PlotLy. You will also develop and train models utilizing Python, DVC, Experiment Logging Solutions, the Python Scientific Stack, PyMC3, Boosting Libraries, PyTorch, SpaCy, and NLTK. Participation in the development and testing of model training and scoring production pipelines is essential, as is working within an Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environment. Additionally, you will create and support documentation for various entities such as model experiments, training, and scoring pipelines. You will be expected to provide estimations for model development activities and maintain a roadmap, while also analyzing and investigating model issues and limitations, production requirements, and elaborating steps to reduce risks, meet expectations, and improve application quality. This position may allow for remote work and may involve travel to or relocation to anticipated or unanticipated locations across the United States, including client sites and Grid Dynamics' offices throughout the United States and/or the company headquarters located in San Ramon, CA.
