About the position

The Data Scientist role at Capgemini focuses on defining and implementing Generative AI strategies that align with enterprise-wide goals. The position involves collaborating with stakeholders to address business challenges through scalable AI solutions, leading the design and deployment of AI models, and ensuring robust and efficient solutions. The role requires deep expertise in advanced AI techniques, particularly in Generative AI, and aims to drive innovation in AI applications across various industries, particularly in financial services.

Responsibilities

  • Help define Generative AI Strategy & implement it aligning with enterprise-wide goals
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify business challenges that can be solved through GenAI creating scalable solutions
  • Lead the design development and deployment of AI models and algorithms ensuring solutions are robust efficient and scalable
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of LLMs and advanced fine-tuning techniques
  • Proficient in Parameter-Efficient Fine-Tuning (PEFT) methods including LoRA, QLoRA, Adapter Tuning, and Prefix Tuning
  • Expertise in model compression and quantization methods
  • Skilled in techniques like AWQ and GPTQ, particularly GPTQ-for-LLaMA
  • Adept at prompt engineering demonstrating proficiency in various techniques and best practices
  • Familiarity with tools and frameworks that facilitate effective prompt design
  • Advanced knowledge of RAG techniques including hybrid search methods and multi-vector retrieval
  • Proficiency in TensorFlow, PyTorch, and high-level APIs like Keras
  • Advanced NLP skills including Named Entity Recognition (NER), Dependency Parsing, Text Classification, and Topic Modeling
  • Experience with Transfer Learning, Few-shot, and Zero-shot learning paradigms
  • Expertise in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for AI/ML model deployment
  • Strong proficiency in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and handling large-scale datasets
  • Experience with real-time AI applications and streaming data processing
  • Experienced with cutting-edge generative AI tools including LangChain and Hugging Face Transformers
  • Experience in implementing guardrails to ensure ethical AI usage and mitigate risks
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as Microsoft's AI Guidance Framework
  • Experience with Data Mesh Cloud Architecture integrating AI models into existing and future architectures
  • Experience in the Financial services industry, preferably focusing on Controls Technology domain
  • Ability to build and lead high-performing AI teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams influencing decision-making at all levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience in Data, AI, ML
  • 10+ years of experience in AI/ML with at least 3 years in Generative AI
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing AI teams and delivering complex AI solutions.
