About the position
The Data Security Analyst I is responsible for supporting the IT security function by reviewing, analyzing, and executing processes to ensure the safety of IT assets. This role involves managing user accounts, monitoring systems for security events, troubleshooting security issues, and implementing security actions to meet organizational needs. The analyst serves as the first level of support for security incidents and provides management with status reports while researching new technologies to enhance IT security processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage user accounts and network access.
- Troubleshoot security issues.
- Implement and maintain security utilities and devices, including patches and updates.
- Monitor accounts and networks for security events.
- Provide support for senior management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Four years of experience in maintaining computer systems and identifying, reporting, and resolving security violations.
- Or a Bachelor's degree and two years of experience in maintaining computer systems and identifying, reporting, and resolving security violations.
Nice-to-haves
