TEKsystems is seeking a Data Security Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, the analyst will collaborate closely with engineering teams to define technical requirements and specifications for data security solutions. This involves creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for various data security projects, which includes technical specifications, user guides, and operational procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the insurance industry, its products, practices, and operations, as well as a broad knowledge of the system development life cycle and technology alternatives. Familiarity with interface design and user-centered work methods is also essential. The Data Security Business Analyst will be expected to have a solid grasp of information security projects, with a preference for candidates who have experience specifically in data security. Proficiency in tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence is required, along with strong oral and written communication skills. The ability to convey business requirements and technical needs clearly and effectively is crucial. The analyst will also need to demonstrate solid client and interpersonal skills, enabling them to work effectively with project managers, stakeholders, and IT staff. Prior experience working with vendors and managed service providers (MSPs) is highly preferred. Candidates should possess advanced computer skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project Planning, and other business-related software systems. A bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is required, or equivalent work experience. Typically, a minimum of four years of experience in business analysis or related fields such as accounting, finance, insurance operations, or computer science is expected, with prior experience in identifying and documenting business requirements.
