About the position

The Data Security Cloud Developer role at Oracle focuses on building and enhancing the Data Safe service on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This position is critical in ensuring the security of sensitive data for enterprises by developing robust security components and solutions that meet stringent enterprise software requirements. The role requires a deep understanding of cloud computing, security concepts, and database technologies, as well as the ability to lead projects and collaborate with various teams to deliver high-quality security solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and expertise in building high-quality database security components, products, and solutions.
• Define specifications for new projects and lead the design and implementation according to those specifications.
• Work closely with supporting teams to ensure quality deliverables.
• Facilitate high-quality integrations with Oracle database products and Oracle Fusion Middleware stack.
• Collaborate with team members and managers to improve current products and features, adopt new technologies, and enhance architectural design.

Requirements

• 5+ years of development experience with cloud computing and large-scale system software.
• In-depth understanding and experience in system/product design focused on security, performance, scalability, high availability, and manageability.
• Solid understanding of security concepts, including authentication, access control, applied cryptography, and security protocols.
• Familiarity with application security and middleware security technologies.
• Proficient in Java, SQL, PL/SQL, and XML.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Familiarity with industry developments in information security, database technologies, big data, and cloud computing.
• Master's degree in computer science or engineering is preferred.
