About the position

The Deluxe Data Solutions Analyst position serves as a technical resource that bridges clients, internal systems, and processes to ensure the successful execution of marketing campaigns. This role involves performing quality control inspections, addressing data issues, and supporting ad-hoc requirements and data processing. The Analyst is responsible for leading data project management efforts, ensuring timely delivery of customized data sets, and maintaining thorough documentation of processes and decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality control inspections and routines to ensure data consistency and proper mapping to Deluxe standard file structure.
  • Work with clients and data files to address and resolve issues.
  • Contribute to continuous organizational improvement through documented initiatives and lessons learned from projects.
  • Lead exploratory processes with clients and internal functions to define data requirements and establish project deliverables and timelines.
  • Liaison with internal stakeholders and support teams to develop execution plans and ensure flawless delivery.
  • Complete moderately complex data projects and ensure timely extraction of customized data sets for client requests.
  • Create, update, and maintain various data tables and systems; update process specifications; design and implement ad-hoc data processing routines.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with clients and project team members regarding all data-related items.
  • Evaluate and proactively communicate the status of tasks with regard to deadlines and completion to the Marketing Campaign Manager.
  • Apply standard problem-solving methods and tools to troubleshoot issues and develop potential solution options.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
  • 1 year of experience in a related role.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in R, Python, or other big data tools and languages.
  • Experience in SQL, Visual Studio/SSIS, and/or other database structures or big data tools.
  • Experience in AWS cloud technology such as S3, Athena, Glue, DynamoDB, Lambda.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, or Statistics and 3 years of experience.
  • 1 year of experience in R, Python, or other big data tools and languages.
  • 1 year of experience in SQL, Visual Studio/SSIS, and/or other database structures or big data tools.
  • 1 year of experience in AWS cloud technology such as S3, Athena, Glue, DynamoDB, Lambda.
