About the position

The Data Solutions Engineer at BCGuardian will play a crucial role in supporting new product development by building, optimizing, and maintaining end-to-end data pipelines for rights owners in the music and publishing industries. This position is essential for enhancing the efficiency of data collection and analysis, contributing to the company's mission of impactful intellectual property protection.

Responsibilities

• Improve, develop, and maintain multiple sets of critical data collection and analytical pipelines to improve efficiency of analysis and services rendered.
• Innovate and continuously improve BCGuardian's collection and mining capabilities with a focus on leveraging new approaches, reducing cost, and broad optimization.
• Assist in the development, deployment, and maintenance of custom collection and analysis solutions, products, data mining, and other efforts as directed by the Director of AI & Product.
• Serve as the technical point of contact to employees to improve their technical capabilities and literacy.

Requirements

• Experience independently and creatively solving and developing technical solutions for difficult problem sets.
• Experience developing and deploying technical solutions in Python, Java, and other programming languages.
• Experience with cloud computing software (EC2s, S3, etc.) and with data mining and open-source collection techniques and procedures.
• Familiarity with Streamlit, React JS, Docker, and other front-end programming languages, and deployment software tools, techniques, and procedures.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing timelines, priorities, and deadlines.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with non-technical employees.
