About the position
The Data Sourcing Analyst is a key role responsible for generating reports on supply chain metrics, data performance, and visualization dashboards. This position requires advanced Excel skills and involves collaboration with various teams to drive performance improvements through data analysis and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Design and build Supply Chain Operations reports and dashboards.
- Work closely with US Sourcing Ops and offshore Product Creation Centers to define, automate, and validate the extraction of new metrics from various data sources.
- Build reporting on PO milestone data; PO Issuance through DC receipt.
- Create and analyze exception reports to proactively drive action plans.
- Merge various data sources to generate a comprehensive report of Purchase Order Milestones.
- Identify areas of improvement in business processes and propose solutions to the manager.
- Understand project objectives and apply understanding of processes to drive operational improvement initiatives.
- Develop cross-functional knowledge of Fanatics supply chain processes to validate data.
- Map out and document process flows for input into SOPs.
Requirements
- 3+ years of math, business intelligence, forecasting, or economics-related professional experience.
- Excellent PC skills (Excel, Power BI, Querying tools, and PowerPoint). Strong Excel skills are a must.
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, math, economics, data science, or equivalent degree preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and flexible environment.
- Quantitative, analytical mindset - collecting, cleaning, and formatting raw data to extract relevant, actionable information for business decision-making.
- Experience in documenting and optimizing business processes.
- Detail-oriented with good analytical, communication, customer service, and project management skills.
- Strong communication skills (fluent in English reading/writing/speaking).
- Ability to work across teams and departments.
