Data Specialist III

About the position

The Data Specialist III position at ENGIE Impact is responsible for performing complex research and resolution on client and vendor accounts. This role involves identifying, prioritizing, and mitigating risks while communicating and escalating issues as necessary. The specialist will work directly with utility companies and indirectly with clients, ensuring data accuracy and effective management of vendor EDI feeds.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform components of the Data Specialist 1 & 2 roles
• Build Excel and Access based files to convert data files to Engie formats
• Prepare and upload data files using Access and Excel
• Use RPA to run automation to web scrape retrieving bills
• Perform manual data entry for summary and international invoices
• Ensure timely follow-up, email, and correspondence
• Understand and work with FTP sites
• Work with vendors and IT partners to onboard and maintain vendor EDI feeds
• Understand and communicate SAC codes
• Ensure data accuracy by understanding Engie's mapping requirements
• Work with vendors on escalated program-wide issues
• Utilize SQL and Power BI
• Set up and maintain template mappings for all product lines and advanced services such as renewables

Requirements

• 1 year of clerical and/or customer related work experience
• High school diploma or its equivalent
• Solid computer skills, including familiarity with Word, Excel, Outlook, and customized ENGIE Impact systems
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and use time management tools
• Basic mathematical aptitude
• Basic problem-solving abilities
• Dependable team player with a sense of ownership
• Ability to adapt to change easily
• Flexibility with schedule and availability for overtime work
